Publisher Description
The Sound Meter & Frequency Meter is your professional sound meter app
Sound Meter and Frequency Meter is also known as sound level meter, decibel meter (dB meter), noise meter, sound pressure level meter (SPL meter).
The application uses the phone's microphone to measure the noise level (dB) and frequency (Hz). This clever sound meter application makes it extremely easy and quick to measure.
Sound and Frequency Meter (Decibel Meter) features:
- Graphic display of the current volume and frequency values
- Display current, average, and maximum decibel values
- Measurement of elapsed time
- 0 to 120 decibel (dB) range
- 0 to 18000 frequency (Hz) range
- Quick reaction time
- Reset, Play, Pause
- Simple calibration
- Keep the display turned on while running the application
Microphones in Android devices are designed to record human voice, so maximum noise is limited and very loud noises can be detected (in most cases above 100 dB). The sound meter is calibrated in the +- 2 dB range of noise and is probably the most accurate sound meter on Google Play. We've set up a professional sound meter used by sound engineers, and we've made the necessary changes on a number of Android devices, including the most popular tools on the market.
Why would you use Sound Meter? Measure the neighbors' noise, check the computer, the fridge, or the air conditioner. Measure how loud the car, the motorcycle, the lawnmower. Set your music sound system to a safe level so that it does not harm people's hearing. Measure the noise in your home or apartment you want to buy.
Your options are infinite, the sound meter is applicable to all Android devices.
Comment:
Due to the microphone limitations on different devices, the range of the measuring instrument is different. In general, the low end of the scale is not available due to the microphone noise, and the upper end of the scale is limited by the microphone distortion.
